Breakfast Service Activity by NSW
Isn't it delighting to start the day with our Dear Sathya Sai ? No matter how old you are, the yearning is ever growing and eternal. As the saying goes, As is the food, so is the mind; no doubt, food plays a vital role in shaping a man. The first meal of the day, the breakfast is the most important of all. The Sri Sathya Sai Global Council Australia - NSW Region has initiated an ongoing Breakfast program in 5 schools in North Western region of Regional NSW. This Breakfast program supports 100 students in the Aboriginal communities of Weilmoringle, Mungindi, Engonnia, Collarenebri & Walgett.
The initial delivery of Breakfast items was done over the weekend of 23rd March by the volunteers from NSW Region. The breakfast items consisted of Weetbix, cereals, milk, sugar, biscuits, muesli bars, jam and peanut butter. Our dear Sai brothers and sisters drove 10 hours to deliver these items. They were humbly received by the CEO of North Western Region Aboriginal Land Council, Anne Dennis. Anne Dennis really appreciated this great initiative saying that a lot of kids could now have a proper breakfast and she also acknowledged Sri Sathya Sai Global Council Australia for their continued support to the communities.
