288 Food Packs for Needy Families in Fiji
The distribution of the 288 food packs for families in Fiji facing severe hardships due to the COVID19 pandemic is currently being distributed by Save the Children Fiji and a local Fiji Sai Centre. The families who have received these food packs include single parents, families with young children, and families who have children with special needs.
Save the Children Fiji’s Chief Executive Officer, Shairana Ali, acknowledged the partnership with the Sai Organization of Australia is vital to ensuring that each family that is facing hardships because of Covid-19 is provided relief. She thanked the Sai Organization of Australia for their generous support and confirmed that their donated food packs will be distributed to Covid-19 impacted families.
Supporting these needy families would not have been possible without the generous support and commitment of our members. We want to thank you all for your interest and support so far.
